I have a 8800gts 320mb and a Syncmaster 940bw monitor. Problem is, the monitor simply refuses to go into standby mode in windows xp. I've reinstalled the grahpic drivers a couple of times, and the monitor drivers too. I've tried bot the DVI outputs in the graphics card. Still no avail :( Standby works fine on Linux and Windows 7 though.

What am I missing?

Sorry for bumping an old thread. Seems like the problem was with riva tuner. Uninstalled it, and now everything works fine :)
