OMFG!

This guy is a freaking crazy rich dude.

Gimme 1 Million and ill have a Rig better than that!

TE Sponsoring any1 ? ;)... :P...

there is way better setup with full half circle screen setup somewhere at hardforums. That beats this hands down. I will try to find the link and post.

These people are crazy.

I once saw a GTR racers playroom with a custom built cockpit, shifter and 3 pedal setup in front of a 36" display panel.
The entire floor was inlayed with multiple glass cut-sections that contained scale car models.
And he used to wear a helmet, gloves and full race driver getup everytime he raced.

I have a friend (who passed away a couple of years back) who was into Ad films video editing - his setup was based on Macs and Avid and you should have seen his setup - he had like 4 top of the line networked Macs doing real time film editing and he had a bank of about 8 20" high end monitors and all of this were connected to 10 full height SCSI HDD's. I used to pee in my pants when I saw the image quality on the screens. If you guys saw the movie Minority Report and remember the way the images were manipulted on the computer sytem with hand motions - well this was very close to that - only had to use mouse motions :)

@saumil, eazy - great setup's there, & eazy i fully understand what you would have felt seeing that monster, hope you guys can get some pictures :)

My friend passed away a couple of years back. The guy used to work 24/7 he used to sleep in his chair very often - finally got a heart attack - he was about 35 :(

well the guy works proffesionally , so its ok to have such a setup ...

What would be insane if someone has that many displays , macs just for casual use , gaming etc :)

that was totally uncalled for!!! if someone gets a heart attack and u have reason to believe that it was b'coz of him being a workoholic, how does it matter which country he is from???? Dont go country bashing just for the heck of it.

ooh, eazy sad to hear, sleep is a very important component of our body's biorhythm, people dont appreciate that fact :(

@goldie, heart attack is a heart attack no matter where you are, as for chances of survival they are dependent on no of factors.

^^ Yes they are.

Check the facts of death by heart attacks. in USA and in India.

India sucks for most things. Ive realised that now.

The only thing good here is Piracy.

Now dont go saying country bashing again. Its the truth.

eating manners and they way people take care of themselves has a lot to do with it, people from other countries come to India for medial treatment because they get the same services that of US here for a dime...

gone are the days when ppl used to go to US/ Europe for medical surgeries...

anyway, just stick to the topic, any other OT post here will be deleted on sight...

This person needs to grow up.
He used the helmet to realistically impair his vision. Don't think he actually used the full suit like he claimed.

Most GTR drivers are an average of 50 years old, grown up enough. Nothing wrong with wanting the most authentic experience possible outside of a real race car.
