hey guys these are my config plzz suggest me a good motherboard as i wont be overclocking i need one good mobo for 4k i prefer n-vidia mobos.and suggest a PSU too my budget for the PSU is 1.5k

It's a sin to buy a core 2 duo and not overclock it. I have 965RY mobo and can't overclock my E4400 and man i know it hurts. After all, Core 2 Duo's can easily be bumped up by a few hundred Mhz on stock cooler.
For you best bet are XFX 650i mobo or Boistar's TP35D2 - A7. Both cost a few bucks over 4.5K so you may have to increase your budget a bit.

Also, a 1.5K PSU won't cut it for you as you are also going for 9600GT. Get a normal DVD-RW (read Samsung) instead of one with lightscribe. It will save you at least Rs 500. Add a few more hundred and you can buy POV Black Diamond 500W PSU.
In all, you may have to increase your budget by around 1.5K.
 
i would recomment a p35 chipset abit ip35 e 5k

and for psu blackdiamond ll be enough its 2.5k thou , and ofcourse u r gettin 9600gt so u better get a good psu !

Get a Biostar TP35D2 A7; agreed u wont overclcok but once u've these h/w in ur hand, u'll do it automatically.. :P

Why the hell do u need litescribe?? Are u really goin to label those cds n dvds?? Or fer the Litescribe label??? Ditch tat n get a Samsung SH203D sata fer around 1100 bucks..

Ur psu budget is very limited; wont get u anything really worth it.. get the Powersafe 500w or POV BD 500w..
 
so all you people have convinced me to cut down litscribe and i ll be going for the normal one and for overclocking what wall do i need in detail with prices i ll be going for the XFX 650i or ABit - I-N73HD so what else do i need for the overclocking purpose.Will i get a VIP powersafe smps for arround 2k
 
also n option wud b get a 17" monitor n get good smps as suggested black diamond 500w and an ip35-e mobo....u wnt regret.
 
Hy i am thinking of getting an Abit N73HD does it HAVE a PCIE 16x slot for my 9600gt

1.5k won't be enough for a good PSU....you need at least a POV Black diamond 500W (~2700rs) or corsair vx450(~3700), since ur gonna use a 9600GT better be on the safer side....and why no OC with a C2D? the PSU that would be available for 1.5K would be zebronics platinum 400W and powersafe 400W i think
 
biostar seems to be a good option..

i'm using the same and its workin very fine also

if ur buying a c2d this mobo works nice with it also a decent overclocker.
 
listen to people man.

don't go for a cheap PSU.

U can get a gigabyte GA G31 MX S2 for about 3000.

I own it and it runs stable and cool.

won't oc much though and its matx otherwise fine mobo.
 
U people have finally convinced me for a better smps i ll be going in for the POV Bliackdiamond and the mothereboard which i have decided is abit I n73hd
Now the problem is does N73hd have a PCI-E 16x port on which i ll be runing my 9600gt??????
