Motorola will be launching the Moto G in India some time this week.

Motorola does not have any official presence in India any more, after the company quit business in the country a couple of years back. Due to this, Motorola does not have any channels to distribute the phone any more, which is why it will be partnering exclusively with online stores to sell the Moto G in India. Flipkart is said to be one of those stores, although it's unknown if it will be the only one. It will be interesting to see how the after sales services are handled.

The Moto G to be launched in India will be the dual-SIM model. No word on pricing yet but the phone should be priced around INR 15,000-16,000 for the 8GB variant.

Diwali then... :)
15k for 8gb

Also id know the ROM support and after sales support...
im happy with my blade now..

Will only buy if 16gb reaches 14k

Even if you buy from ishop or ibhejo, it would cost almost 16.5k.
So yes if its launching for 15k, its fine. Price would down when there is good demand for MOTO G.

Hope they let us customize it too (wooden panels yay !).
Umm, wooden panels are for the Moto X, not the Moto G. Also, so far, these customization options are only in the US. They launched the Moto X in Europe without the customization options.

its better to get the play store edition now, lenovo does not have a very good reputation with regards to software updates.
Else, become a XDAr like me. :)
