Hi,

I am planning to buy a touch screen phone. I got a chance to look at MotoRokr E6e. The only drawback I could find was that there is no keypad in it.

Otherwise how is it?.

May I know the advantages and disadvantages of it?. I meant battery backup,sound quality,interface etc...

I would like to receive comments about it from the people who are using it now.

i allways like moto an sonyericsson ,becoz u can mod it,
e6,ming r gr8 mobile phone for modder ,if u know how to modding buy e6
or wait few month becoz ming2 ,a1800 (gsm+cdma),moto blaze r coming.

I am currenntly using the Moto Rockr E6 and as far as the usability goes its quite good.......its quite sturdy for a touch phone...as i have abused my phone badly.....The head sets that you get with the premium pack are just awesome......The interface of the phone is quite fast.....unlike the Nokia N Series.......The non availability of a keypad is obviously a disadvantage but in due course of time you will get used to it......as naikvasai said newer models are going to be out in the same touch screen category by Motorola, so if i were you i would w8...:D
 
it true motorola e6 is a really fun phone to have,especially when u can mod it....i have been using it for the past year....plus surfing the net is enjoyable because of touch screen.
 
hey can you guys shed some light on the modding aspect of E6...i am really very new to this term and would love to know more about it....:huh:
 
What are your priorities?

If you can live without FM and slightly inferior cam - go for HTC P3400i (below 9K now).

Being a windows mobile there are plenty of software available and also boasts a 2.8 inch screen.
 
Its a gr8 phone at this price. I own it & i like its all features.
POSITIVES: large touch screen ( have watched even some movies in it), Linux OS (can be modded to the extreme):eek:hyeah: , awesome music quality when paired with CREATIVE EP 630, Business card reader
NEGATIVES: battery (have to charge everyday in case of extreme use), low sound output through speakers, poor quality 2 MP Camera.

So its definitely a good choice when u want touch screen. u can also take a look at HTC mobiles. Or wait gor launch of newer MOTOMING.
