Bought a brand new Motorola Atrix 2 from ebay. Got the unlock code,entered it and got the unlock successful screen. But instead of going straight into the Android home screen, it is stuck on the emergency dialer one. No luck even after trying the hard reset option. Is the phone IMEI unlocked?
 
Might just be the MotoBlur account. Put in a SIM and see if it asks you for the MotoBlur account details. If it still doesnt, do a hardware reset on the phone.
 
You have to insert the SIM and create the motoblur account. Later, you can remove the SIM putting it in airplane mode. but, there are some tutorials (youtube) which shows on how to bypass the motoblur a/c setup.
 
Got the phone working. It seems my sim was damaged. ATRIX 2 did not ask for the MOTOBLUR account.

Seems the SIM slot is damaged. It accepts Airtel but not Aircel and Vodafone SIM cards. Does anyone have similar problems?
 
Must be something about setting the appropriate signal bands for reception. Like the one's in CM7...
