PC Peripherals Mouse On even when computer is off !

Hi !

This may seem a little too trivial .... but its kinda bothering me.My samsung Optical Mouse remains on even after i shut down my computer.It goes off only when i completely shut power to the computer .... This means my motherboard is powered up even when my computer is off ..... y is that ? Can i chage any power options in the Bios to fix that ? The Motherboard ive got is an ASUS A8Ne.

u have to disable the KBD_PWR jumper on the mobo.Look for it in ur manual.That thing is used to power up ur system with the k/b or mouse.It doesn't hurt if u have that enabled.

Me got A8NE too and my MS mouse stays on as if its *ss is on fire, but never bothered about it!!

Infact it acts as a reminder that i gotta switch off the power before i dig into the case!!:P

But at least now I know why its there!!:ashamed: :rofl:
