I just looked a mouse, was thinking of buying it. It was in the local market, don't know the brand or make.

It has these specs...
2.4GHz
800DPI/1600DPI (adjustable)
Wireless

I don't know much about this Ghz and DPI in a mouse. Is this mouse suitable for gaming?

anything over 1000 dpi is good for gaming especially for multiplayer gaming. Not needed for single player but you can get one if you want to. How much is the mouse?
 
Higher the DPI the finer the movement you can do.

Very helpful is sniper like situations.

Buy the mouse with highest DPI that your budget permits.
 
IMO. Too much DPI is alSo not good . It all depends on the playing style . Mostly ye will lower the sensitivity for higher DPI Mouse.
