Mouse without scroll wheel

I have seen that most mouses I buy, whether cheap or expensive, have their scroll wheels not working properly only after a duration of a few months. In the last 3 years, I bought 5 different mouses and all of them have scroll wheel not working properly. I do like mouse scroll wheels due to ease of moving up and down the page without relying on scroll bars, especially when the pages are long. Is there any mouse which provides scroll wheel like convenience without actually having scroll wheel? Like a scroll button or any other alternate which provides convenience to scroll up and down the window?

Logitech Ergo M575 trackball. Which mice have you been using? My G600 lasted 8 years and G300 still working after 10 years.
