Betty Blue is one of my all time favorite movies. I think it is Belgian or French, it is an older film and it's pretty sexually explicit and very emotionally raw, but a great movie.

That movie left me depressed for three days after. :(

if you don't mind venturing into Korean movie territory, there are loads of such "touching" movies. {with tons of lovey-dovey content.. emo stuff}

well.. in theatre, while i was watching GHAJINI, the girl sitting next to me was crying the whole time after they killed asin.. so i guess that movie was pretty touchy.. :ashamed:

^ now there, lets not get too touchy about something touchy. :P

i admit, i felt bad when they killed asin, especially the way she was killed. :(

no i did not cry fyi

i finished watching Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. was really nice.

The Green Mile, The Longest Yard (was touched when they get their act together in the end), Remember the Titans from the top of my mind..

Schindler's List

Forrest Gump

Finding Nemo

The Bucket List

Cast Away

Love actually deserves a special mention .

and since not many are coming up with Indian movies, let me name a few.

1942: A love story (was a kid back then and somehow I was deeply moved.... was so young that I don't even remember the storyline clearly now ....just the feelings that I had after watching it.)

Rang de basanti

Taare zameen par

Chak de India

heard that Anand is a very touching one too.....Just borrowed a copy from the office library for the weekend :)

Borat

Blood Diamond

And that movie with Ralph Fiennes and Rachel Weisz where they go to Africa and stuff, cant remember the name lol.

In pursuit of Happiness.

the english patient?

edit: no it was "the constant gardener" :) both good ones (english patient was with kristen scott thomas)

I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned the Bicycle Thief yet. Welcome to the Dollhouse is another amazing movie. The last scene in the bus was brilliant.

NW if anyone has seen Tideland and if it is watchable, since it is compared to Pan's Labyrinth a lot.

V for Vendetta

The part where Eve finds the note of a former prisoner, the homosexual female when V imprisons her was depicted sooo beautifully. Besides that, one could find the whole Larkheel incident very touching too.
