I am attaching a pic to show exactly what my problem was:

Everything was ok until I installed Batman AA. I was using firefox 3.5.2 so I updated it to 3.5.3 but the problem was not solved.
A bit of googling for solutions led me here:
How to uninstall Microsoft .NET Framework Assistant from Firefox

Everything was ok until I installed Batman AA. I was using firefox 3.5.2 so I updated it to 3.5.3 but the problem was not solved.
A bit of googling for solutions led me here:
How to uninstall Microsoft .NET Framework Assistant from Firefox
How to uninstall
- Open Regedit (Start > Run > “regeditâ€)
- Goto “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mozilla\Firefox\extensions†(or “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Mozilla\Firefox\extensions†for 64-bit versions of Windows
- You’ll see “{20a82645-c095-46ed-80e3-08825760534b}â€. Right click it and click Delete.
- Restart Firefox.
- Write an angsty live journal entry about why “Micro$oft“ sucks.
I took a backup of my registry (just Mozilla bit) before deleting the entry and the problem has gone away.
But,
Will I run into trouble when I try to upgrade FF again.
Also was that extension important.
