Iam planning to buy a mp3 player:clap: ,wich shud have a capacity of arnd 512mb,FM(must)....actin as a Pen drive wud be an added advantage...:ohyeah:

Budget :2.5k:(

So guys plzzz put in ur advice and d models u suggest..:cool2:

Also wich is dis mp3 pic in attachment....coz i have seen it with many ppl also it looks gud....:hap2:

I have a Transcend TSonic 2GB player and its great. It cost 5.2K but its definitly worth it.

Get a 1 GB version of it but it will cost u around 3.5K.
 
if u can afford .. A zen neeon 5 gb is selling for 7.3k on Sify
and a Ipod nano 1 gb is available for 6k in chennai..
 
i suggest u stay away from the player for which u gave a link.....doesnt even have a brand-name.
The Transcend Tsonic610 is the best for ur budget and requirements.
 
The Mp3 players u mentioned are all cheap chinese players.....Its a question of luck...If u r lucky it might last a lifetime if u r not it will conk off at the blink of an eye.....

I had purchased one of those cheap players....It worked fine for 6 months then it stopped getting detected on the PC.....I can still play music from the files already on the disk.....

On the other hand a friend of mine has a player which he has been using for around a year and a half and he has no issues with it yet....

If u ask me, I would suggest u to go for a branded player...Its worth the extra money u r gonna spend.....
 
These Generic players sometimes show more space then they actually have... after format, u can see the actual space.

To top it, dealers sell them with a clause that warranty will be void if u format the player :P ...
 
Seeing it with many ppl doesn't make any product branded. A name like wespro which probably sounds like a rip-off of wipro isn't branded in the least. It would be better if you can put-off your mp3 player purchase and get something decent like the trancend t610, iaudio or creative muvo.

yeah.. interesting this thread cause I'm on the hunt for a player too.. maybe knoughty and me could team up for a lammy trip...I'm game..

@ blady.. where've u been man? hardly 10 posts of yours I've seen... and most have been on www.te.com/totboy :P

Busy mate, all this month and prolly the next as well.

On topic:
@knoughtyd: You could try puttin up a WTB thread as well in the market section incase someone is looking to get rid of his/her mp3 player.
