Success gets to everyone's head. Previously it was Sony who acted indifferently now MS. Still its strange MS doesnt learn anything from the backlashes to its other product lines - OS, tablet et al and continues to be a douche. Everyone trying to be Steve Jobs much?

Adam “Always Online” Orth no longer employed at Microsoft

It's not known at this point whether Orth resigned from his position voluntarily or was fired (or was given the option to resign in lieu of termination), but the change appears to have occurred within the past day. GameInformer's attempts to reach Orth for comment via Microsoft's main number have been unsuccessful, lending additional credence to news of his departure.

Orth appeared totally unprepared for the violent backlash his comments received and quickly set his Twitter account to private. He also appears to have deleted his LinkedIn account two days ago.

"Electricity goes out too."

He racked his brains and came up with a SEEMINGLY fair point.

EXCEPT...

We have affordable devices for power back up. No such thing when it comes to the internet.

Nah. If anything, Steve Jobs was a masterful salesman. He'd never do something like this, regardless of what his actual stance on the matter was. He might have tried to convince you that he was right even when he was wrong or his vision was questionable, but he'd never tell you outright that you were wrong.

Even during the iPhone "don't hold it that way" fiasco, some people found his answer witty.

I don't even care about the Xbox, and I find this guy annoying.
