i think after 1yr. 5770 would be totally outdated so for the prize its good

i would say go for 5850/6850 and you will be fine ... look out for 6k range ... i did sold my OC 5850 for 6.5k so you can get one in the range
 
yup i guess 5850 will suffice me @ 1440x900 for quite a while !!

4k+shipping for HD6770 . Bill date of the pre RMAed HD5770 is Jun,2010. as far as i remember will cross check if you are interested.
