Product received, but in very poor condition. DTDC guy took the product from my house (I am in another city) saying he will package it properly, after I said it's fragile).

Sachin has unfortunately received the product in damaged condition. Will report to their customer service tomorrow, and escalate further if I don't get a satisfactory response. I didn't know that products were mishandled this poorly.

The Way this whole Sale went was improper. You are in bangalore booking an pick up from hyderabad in Bangalore and You totally relied on Courier Guy.
You shouldn't have listed the product in first place if you weren't sure about product packing.

PS: Writing on behalf of Sachin.

Product working, but I have some problem with drivers n LAN, spoke to the seller about it

Update:

the MSI driver CD I received doesn't have the required drivers. Doesn't know how MSI gives all these without the graphics driver in CD. Must download it now, but its 700MB, will wait till tomorrow as I have hit FUP

Update 2:

LAN is not working, light not at all blinking. And the driver installs and tells couldn't find Realtech LAN chip-set. Can any one help on this?

I don't think you need to download 700 mb driver file from msi website... just go to amd website to download graphics driver which should be under 150 mb and get lan driver from msi website.

Sachin has downloaded Lan driver from MSI website. Apparently after installation he realizes that LAN Light isn't blinking and also the NIC went Kaput.

Final Update: the Seller has agreed to pay Compensation for the damages and the buyer will be Repairing it at an Nearest Shop.
Overall a bad experience.

yep, it's better to get a separate lan card or dongle instead of repairing it... anyway, digicare repairs out of warranty motherboards - telling this as it may be better than just any repair shop.

Hey guys. It may look like I did a piss-poor job, and I'm not saying I didn't, but I tried my best to make sure nothing goes wrong. Here's a timeline of events.

- Listed item on TE after getting it from my boss as it was lying in the office gathering dust.
- Finalized deal. Had to fly to Bangalore for work purposes.
- Got DTDC to pick-up item. Explained carefully that the item is fragile. My parent overlooked the process, but the DTDC guy took the motherboard with him promising that he will further pack it in his office. He didn't.
- Throughout each step, I keep the thread updated, as well as Sachin (of course),
- Sachin receives product. We find out that no packaging whatsoever was done by DTDC. Rough handling resulted in the dent on the motherboard corner, which otherwise was tucked away safely in its box. It pained me to see such a beautiful board get tampered with, I spent many hours admiring it.
- I know that I am to blame no matter what, even if this was the first time I have sold an item on TE, but I wish somebody, anybody (including Sachin) had asked me once about the state of packaging or requested a particular box or whatever packaging. Not blaming anybody, just a thought.
- Needless to say, I didn't ask for shipping charges. Why would I? I spent last night wondering how things could have gone any other way because trust me, I thought about the "feedback" I would get in the days before like "awesome" or "excellent product" or anything. It's sad that the outcome was far from what I had anticipated.
- The one problem that was faced was that the LAN port wasn't working. I don't know if this got damaged during transit or after he received the item. I trust he handled it well because the guy (Sachin) knows what he's doing. He's using his own NIC, for which I have compensated him the amount he asked me to, no questions asked.

I learnt my mistakes, and will take all the steps to ensure this never happens again (although I'm unlikely to ever ship any item, local buyers only). I hope Sachin enjoys the product for the rest of its life cycle.

Mods can please close this thread, unless anybody has any objection.

KK guys I have just come here to say few thing. Not at all interested in arguing or bashing some 1

@comp@ddict my friend

- I would like to talk more about packing. U had told me not to worry about proper pack and it would be done.
- If u had told me that courier guy would do it before only I would have told u 1000 times not to trust them. If I was in your spot I would have not even trusted 0.001% of what they say.
- Yes you did not ask for any shipping charges, that's good, even I was also very polite with you over phone too, not oven shouted once. I could have shouted at you and told u take the product with you and return my money back. But I did not ask you to do so. No one need not guide any one regarding how to pack and ship it. Its just a common sense when dealing. It is not that every one are perfect, every one should commit mistake and should see that it will not repeat next time. At least be careful next time.
- There was no word written on the packing as "FRAGILE". Next time follow it
- And regarding the feed back. I will not give any feedback. I could have easily called you and told to take the product back and giving negative feedback.
- Yes LAN port is not at all working. I have handled it @ most care and to must best. Am I mad to bash my own Mobo which I have purchased? LAN port still not working where as the USB port next to it is working fine and I doubt it getting damaged. Should have been a before problem.

And last but not the least I am not going to give any feedback to you. But what I can strongly say is that you were careless, if you had earned this product you will know the pain.... Don't want to talk further.

If you have any doubt, you can visit my home any time, any day to see the condition of the Mobo and u will know how bad it is(hope the pic I have sent you is enough)

If other were in my spot, they would have just returned the product to you and got this deal done for some Rs6000 or Rs7000 considering that no one will take it. I just asked you to compensate just Rs 400(for NIC card)

Mods can close after again getting confirmation from the seller if he has no objections. Further I will not do any justification bcz I did not want to bash him.
