MSI gtx 260 @ 184.99$

Depends on game, 2 days ago, 192 was better performance / $ but now 4870 is 194$ shipped too. only 512MB frame buffer of 4870 is CON otherwise architecture wise its superior, better AA performance. 260 has more features but ATi is catching now. U cant go wrong, buy any.

its better than 512mb 4870 :bleh: , need more memory in new games . 4870 also good and depends on personal choise when both at same price . but more memory will help
 
Friend coming back from US in 45 days time. Should I ask him to get this now? Or it will be even cheaper after a month?
 
the card is cheaper now due to thanks giving shit thre... IMO u'd ask him to buy it now as after a month it wont be thanks giving nemore.. prices may go up..u never know... he can buy as late as possible and keep it with him.. ;)

^^^those rebates are valid in US of A only. nothing in it for us. wish i could have availed them mseslf!
 
price is now high....239$, and KMD quoted arnd 14.5k:( sadness, i guess Hd4870 @ 199$ is a better deal right now?
