Hi,
just got my hands on a MSI 5770 Hawk from SMC.
This card runs real cool and overclocks like crazy.
Was able to reach 1000mhz on the core and ram upto 1400mhz stable.
This card is a must buy for guys on a limited budget, its avail for a little less than 10k @ SMC







 
From all the reviews I read, overclocking this card isn't yielding any significant benefits, about 2-4 fps on average. Did you test the overclocked performance?
 
i was able to take my 5770 to 950mhz stable, but performance increase was negligible (2~3 fps) so i rivert back to stock. my 9500GT is even better overcloker, it goes up to 720mhz without any problem
 
what are you guys using to compare the performance?

because if there is 2-3fps difference in particular game for a heavy overclock then it is more like a bottleneck on some other component.

can you guys list down the setup and some results?

are those clocks indeed stable under stress testing and benchmarks?
 
the cards with the stock batman cooler had better OC as they had a better voltage control chip (thats what I have read a lot on TPU forums)...many claimed to take them 1GHz+ or so...anyways, nice OC mate :)

I m planning to buy this same card. hawk edition. I wanna Know How is this card, and can It run games Like Assassins Creed 2 Gears of war 3 (if it comes In PC) Far Cry 2 , Metro 2033 , The saboteur , Command and Conquer 4, Need For Speed WORLD Dragon Age

on their highest possible quality on resolution 12xx X xxx .. or More ?????? plz help ..... :S

And if i OverClock this Hawk , How much Performance Difference Will i C.... :'(
