Looks like an okay board. However the fan on top of those copper fins is gonna heat the primary video card. Also the EPS connector is at a hard to reach place. It might cause problems with a large HSF such as xp120. Any if you are buying an X1800XT, then whats the point of getting an NF4 board that too an SLI X16 whose second slot is never gonna be used :S.

Udit, are we talking about the same board? :S Whats wrong with the layout?

1) PCI-E 4X between 2 PCI Slots.
2) Very little space between the top PCI-E 16X Slot & the Copper Block due to which 7800GTX 512 installation is very hard.
3) Very little space between the CPU Socket & the Copper Block due to which you cannot install large heatsinks like the Thermalright XP120 & Zalman CNPS7000B-Cu 120mm.
4) Still using Creative 24bit onboard.
5) No major performance gain over the K8N Diamond except Silence and better cooling.

Actually I have fixed on the card....board and even CPU (intel or AMD:huh: )
seeing goldenfrags intel dual core has me in a real dilemma....

In case of a 945 or a 975 even my X1800XT would be a good choice, agree??

chaos you're right...even the X1800XT is long will cause probs...)

it seems a good board .. but u can settle for a dfi board or asus one only pros in msi one is the creative audio .. i dont think till another generation of graphics card comes out like say for the g71 that 2 x16 will be benifited :) till then it would be time for a mobo change lmao but its a good board .. if dual x16 not ur cncern get dfi or asus.i dont know why i trust asus for their stability.i have a cd rom gave it to my friend hes using it for 6 years oh well still running .. then thers lots a mobos too.

creative onboard not really a pro for me because I got good creative soundcards....

and x32 is really wasted, cause the bandwidth is not utilised and moreover to even come close u need 30K * 2 min range of cards... low lat RAM, and an FX55, 3.4 GHz intel....at the least...

then 1 year or 2 down the line u r left with the double headache of getting rid of 2 graphics cards...

ur so right :D get the asus sli prem one i got it just few days back or get dfi i dont know y i give asus 100% on their product line up :P.. plus i dont like the divide in mcp's as southbridge and northbridge whatever it takes being a single mcp [media comm processor the nforce 4] is faaar betterto me .. psycological opinion ;)
