actually this started with my 2.4C which I am comfortably running @ 2.8GHz and the 875P neo does a massive OC as far as FSB goes too...
This made quite a difference in most applications with dual channel memory which made me a believa...:hap2:
 
as u have mentioned earlier that u are doing sudio/video encoding/decoding type of things then OC will help u .......

See my choice basically comes down to -

asus A8N SLI premium
MSI K8N neo 4 plat
K8N Neo 4 platinum SLI

do dfi pfi sshhh....for me.....ritey....Thats my opinion now not a statement so no dfi owners hate mails...:bleh:
advice in light of this.....

read up on the problems faced by AMD due to the dual chip solution man...Its actually slower on benchies with most games and even applications....]
besides I dont' won't SLI so why pay such a premium
I could get a SLI prem for around 9.3K or something...

I never said u did nor have I mentioned you anywhere in my posts...but the help I wanted was basically summed up....I wanted one of the 3 listed mobos there....If your board wasn't on that list it wasn't there for a reason...I know a bit of market research too....

I don't think that board is worth 14K nor even 12.5K nor 11K...again my opinions.... You can disagree but this post was for solving my problems not discussing whether I like or not; a certain board...

@ sandy I also mentioned NOT wanting a DFI....my reasons so please don't quote these models too..

You either keep all options open, listen to everyone and make your own decision or get what you want ;)
The 1st option is what forums is about. None of us own this forum, its public place and no matter who starts the thread there are bound to be suggestions if you ask questions. Some are bound to be out of parameters you expect it to be. Its not like anyone is obliged to follow strict code of conduct. its not militart.
Anyway, you have yourself narrowed down your choices, then what to suggest get what you want :P

Well it doesnt lag its mostly on par with normal SLI chipset but yeah in some apps it might but nothing alarming.

Cos in this entire thread your posts are contradicting your own statements making it more difficult to exactly analyse what are you looking for. ;)
 
darky i am not sure about that i just went to rashi to meet a fren and asked about the price but even the tax will come upto max of 500 ..... if u want i can confirm it tomorrow :) .....

actually ASUS board are little cheaper here i don't know how it is but as vandal said 9.5 for SLI Premium it is available here for 8.5 :) .....

anyways no offence to ur sale mate i just wanted to let u know ......

why everyone keeps refering to that as problem?

There is nothing wrong with the damn board. Its chipset limitations and all mobos with 32 pci lanes have 8 but HTT bus. Its not a8n32 specific.

It does not impack daily apps or games much if any.

And its priced at 14750 here.

K8N Neo4 platinum is 8.5k which is rubbish price for that botherboard. In fact all MSI boards are over priced.

Neo4 sli has issues with 7800GT SLI, it does not fit the board due to capacitor issue. keep that in mind. but it only matters for sli user.

So its upto you vandal to decide what you want. There are issues or limitations to every board. You choose now whats best for you.
