Not related to the sale. I see this monitor has VA panel, did you experience the notorious "Black Smearing" with this one, would you advice potential ultra-wide buyers to avoid budget VA panels?
 
No i never noticed a black smearing.
I don't think if this monitor has a drawback and no i would say folks can go for budget panels.

I use a 30" VA curved ultrawide. No smearing, great contrast, and viewing angles are decent thanks to the curve.

I faced this issue with my old monitor. But I returned it and bought a Samsung and it worked for me. Could be an issue with cheaper models? But I've used a VA panel non-curved as well and it worked well.
