MSI unveils its very first 90nm graphics card "MSI RX1300PRO-TD256E"

This Card might straight compete with NVida's 6600
but 6600 is now cheaper than this.

better get a 6600GT for 1000bucks more ..... but i think street prices will be a little low .... or it will be a flop at this price ....

^^Street prices should be lower since digit prices are normally mrp/msrp. Looks like ATi left the launch of the x1300 upto the board partners.

This card if I am not mistaken is the low end card ie sub 100$, so its outta mark here. Unless you get this card at 5000 Rs its not worth it...

Even @ 7k this card is Worthless.

6600 Normal is better than it. Its outta the league of the 6600GT

Dude reading your comments is more painful than peeling the skin off myself. Really !! Please read up next time before you make senseless posts. Just a small request. Its faster than the normal 6600 in almost all dx titles. Eg-

The only scenario where is it faster is doom3 and quake 4 but then again there are no benchies with the Opengl fix. If the cooling is good then the card should overclock well since it is 90nm. Another thing is the price is mrp not street prices, and the cards are just out. Time and new cats will tell. :)

PS: you can check out the benchies of other games as well, the lead is there.

Geforce 6600 128MB DDR2 (pci express) card ( 400/800(400) ) is better than this card ( MSI RX1300PRO 256MB ) !!! check out the benchies :) . hope i am not mistaken

He's just posted the benchies above, and unless the clockspeed is given a bump I dont think the DDR2 card is gonna make a diff. Also not to forget that RX1300 has a lot of headroom.

Shall we talk about available products ;)

Hmm I wasnt aware of this new DDR2 version which doubles the memory with a 45% memory clock increment as well as core clock increment. This surely will be faster then a X1300 pro, but do not forget the X1300 are more likely to reach the 60-100$ range which 6600 is unlikely to reach.

Also at that price range we have many other ATI cards vying for the place :

X700 pro

X800 ( 12 pipe card)
