Guys i switched on to the new plan of 256unltd this january and they have made the change in the plan on 2nd of jan itself..
earlier i used to get the triband downloading speed around 200-234kbps till 10th jan thn after that i am getting only 40kbps.i complaint this matter to the mtnl but they provide me with different complaint nos..
my frnd who stays at goregaon is getting download speed of 200kbps with the same plan.ne suggestions to dis???
 
256 plan is supposed to give you a speed of 32 kilobytes per second. no point complaining.

You getting 2Mbps speed on a 256 kbps line was just a goof up from MTNL side, which is very common and when they correct it you are back to what speeds you should be actually getting. So no point of complaining.
 
You get what u pay for m8, thats all. There is nothing like a free lunch.
 
yeah .. many people are getting 2 mbps speed on 256 kbps line ... but MTNL recognizes it soon .. and correct it too .... so now you are back to your normal plan
 
it is the policy of MTNL to lure customers with providing HIgher speed on the first month. So for any plan you subscribe first month you get 2Mbps speed~250KB/Sec
After a month you get what you pay for that is 256/8~32-40KB/Sec
