MTNL 3g disconnections?

Just got a mtnl 3g connection with teracom datacard.

Getting good speeds of 2.2 Mb/s while downloading



The only problem i'm facing is frequent disconnections, sometimes after 5 mins, sometimes after 30-45 min

Is there anyway to automatically reconnect again without having to click CONNECT in the mtnl software gui?

any idea how to check the balance on the mtnl 3g data card?

when i send ENQ FREE to 444 it replies back saying HSPDA not valid Recharge with R149
 
try downloading MDMA and send USSD command to check balance :)

I guess MDMA works only with Huwaei modems. any ways, u can give a try :)
 
@anuragingle : I check the balance by sending an sms only.. However i gonna recharge 4.5k plan, so no need for sms i guess ;)

^ Downloaded MDMA, but it's not detecting my reliance netconnect+ modem. However my UMG 1831 got detected and working good.. How to check data balance (not the prepaid balance) ?
 
how do i check it from my 3g datacard which is connected to pc?

when i dial *444# it says call failed, i'm using the mtnl teracom datacard
 
^To check prepaid balance using datacard, Use MDMA and send *444# in USSD field..

For data balance, you need to use the sim in mobile and send ENQFREE to 444. You will get the required info in 30 min time
 
MDMA doesnt detect the mtnl Teracom datacard, it gets stuck at Dtecting Mobile device even when the mtnl dashboard is closed.

Another query, i cant use the mtnl 3g connection from my nokia 5800, i configured it with the same apn settings as for the datacard but it still wont let me surf,

i can make calls through the mtnl sim but cannot connect to internet, any solutions?
 
^ Seems you need to use sim to check balance then. MDMA generally detects Huawei Data cards

No idea abt nokia 5800 as haven't tried yet..
 
when i used mtnl 3G when it was launched,

i deleted all proxy and all and just kep gprsppsmum as apn and it was running fantastic.

this was tried in e5.

At my setup I need to connect the 3g data card to tplink 3g router, which will in turn make it WiFi. If I get disconnections, what is the solution. I also read in a diff thread that after 4.5k recharge, limit is 800 gb, how you got that info. I am planning to go for mtnl 3g in delhi, also suggest a vfm data card.
