MTNL BB- Frequent Disconnection?

Hello Friends,

From 3rd September till now (today) I found MTNL Triband disconnect frequently :@. Some time it re-connect automatically & some time I requires to restart modem. :@

Does any MTNL user found same problem.
 
Which router are u guys using ?

If its a Dlink 502 router that MTNL has provided then thats the culprit coz i faced the same problem but when i got my router replaced from MTNL the problem got solved

This happens due to firmware problem in the router
 
I was having same problem with my MTNL Delhi BB connection.

Complained so many times, but no solution.

But now I am using Airtel BB.
 
You can try this.... when you start your modem, put the receiver off the telephone and it should work fine. Works for me.. lemme if it worked for you as well.

he is having Frequent Disconnection problem, not modem startup problem.
 
maybe there's something wrong with your phone line cause of the recent rains ... get it checked

I'm also facing the exactly same problem ever since I got upgraded to 512kbps from 256kbps speed on 20th August.. :@
 
it could be the rains as from the last two days it was really bad so just wait for a few days or call MTNL and check with them

All is fine till 2nd September Night. Using GLB 502T from last 6 months without any issue as firmware upgrade by Saiyan ;)

PPPoE didn't lite up :@

If PPPoE is down.. you can't do any thing. Its problem from back end.. and only MTNL people can help you.

This sounds like a problem with your MTNL dslam. You can't do anything about it! But do get your phone cable checked by a technician for any faults
 
2 months back, my MTNL BB was having disconnect problem - every few mins it got disconnected. The line man checked the line and found some problem.

Later he fixed it.

Get your telephone line checked.
 
I had the same problem few weeks back.called up mtnl broadband cc.they said that everything is fine from their end so i should complaint again for a faulty line.i did the same and the lineman came.he said the line is absolutely fine.i gave him 100 bucks and asked to change the line(entire wire from the mtnl pole to my house). the problem got resolved after that.
 
From today morning (after booking complaint via 198 & one online mail to MTNL BB) NO PROBLEM so far. I think problem is from MTNL (PPPoE down every time when no connection)

No problem from morning till the posting (non-stop) I think it was problem with MTNL back-end as said by ravi_9793
 
ohhh god,

the problem strike yesterday again & not only me but few of my friends from same city with Different (quite long from me) areas too face same problem. MTNL helps other Broad Band Service Providers to eat market shares with such bad service.
