MTNL/BSNL BB down?

I heard on news yesterday that MTNL people were going on a strike and broadband services will be affected.
I dont know if there's any relation between the two, but since morning, my BSNL is down.
Are any of you guys on MTNL or BSNL facing outage in broadband and phone services?
 
My Broadband was down last morning till noon when i checked. only got back late night, then it was working.
 
From the past couple of weeks, the internet[MTNL] in our area [Mira Road] has been terrible. :annoyed:

Frequent Disconnections, Slow speeds, High Pings[While gaming]. :mad03:

Lets hope they resolve this issue at the earliest.:sign09:
 
Had been to mtnl thane office regarding pathetic speed, never had any problems since 1.5 years.

I asked the division head about the same, he showed me a paper where the road was dug & was seeking some permission.

Seems to be a (hard) line issue. And the timing suggests it's moisture related. Either water shorting or corrosion reducing connectivity of some hand twisted joints somewhere. And trust me, with MTNL there are plenty of them.
 
not really. low voltage. open hand-twisted joints are very common with mtnl.
