A month back I switched from my NU plan to totally UL plan. Everything seemed to be fine until this week. I am having a really odd problem now.
I can ping and access the modem.The modem says I am connected (Using a Dlink 502T BTW). The ADSL Sync light is solid. Yet I can't browse any websites at all. When I disconnect from inside the modem manually and then connect manually it wont connect at all.
Some times when I leave it (the modem) on for an hour or so I will get connected.
Wierdest of all I can usually use Bitlord (my torent client) most of the times even if I cant access the websites. This leads me to believe that its a DNS issue. I have forced the DNS i.e 203.94.243.70 and 203.94.227.70 on to the modem and my NIC and the issue is still the same. Does anyone know if they are still MTNL DNSs?
Any suggestions? This is driving me nuts and the MTNL tech support is either useless, they dont do any troubleshooting just tell me they will send and engineer which never happens or the machine tells me there is no room in the tech supp queue. WTF?
