MTNL landline is necessary with broadband, any alternate way ?

I want mtnl tri band but landline is a must which increases 300 in the bill and all the registration fees . is ther ne alternative

Even the IPTV requires telephone line.

Why 300?
There is a 150 as well.

thanx guys for the response sorry yes 150+ tax and the 1000 registration which is quite irritating, 49 per month, wher is this plan i guess not in mumbai i called the cc they said no, 49pm minimum 150 pm

Yep. It's Rs.150/month for incoming only. I'm currently on the incoming only scheme myself.

If someone from your family qualifies as a senior citizen, then I guess there was a Rs.100 incoming only plan available.
