MTNL speed problem

Hi guys i have the MTNL 599UL plan of 512 kbps. I used to get around 55-60kBps downloading torrents but over the last month or so the speed has gone down to 30-40kBps and hardly ever breaches the 50kBps mark.

Downloading something from the browser like an Mp3 from a website results in good speed of download of 50-55kBps

My port is forwarded on my MTNL router.is there anyway to remedy this?

hi,

could u chk a speedtest result and link it here for us to help u better? one more thing, do a ping test on yahoo or something and see if u get packet losses? if u dunno know how to ping, copy paste this in run in the start menu....ping Yahoo! -t

the least u can do is call 1504 and lauch a complaint with them or 198
