MTNL triband down for last 2 days

I was told 2731xxxx has some issues and link is down. Is someone else facing this issue?

The DSL link is connected but no IP is assigned.
 
Why not use a Dynamic IP i was getting very high pings till yesterday which seems to be sorted this morning.
 
it was down for me too for the past 1n half day. the adsl light wasnt blinking. the engineer came & tried a diff adsl modem/router & it worked. so he left the working 1 here.

apparently the router was spoilt.

Dont worry buddy. Getting a triband connection is sure a pain but after you get one you wont face any issues. And yes there is always this chance of getting bumped up speeds (read higher speeds higher than your plan speed).
 
Even I was facing a problem on 2731xxxx exchange. I guess that due to holidays, there is a heavy load on MTNL network because of students using internet all the time.

Though the problem has been sorted out, it can reoccur a couple of times during the holidays.

not installed even after 20 days :@
 
^^ I guess in that case you need to get behind them to get it done soon enough. You taking an Unlimited plan or limited one ? Asking because last year or so when i took the connection, there was a out of turn priority to people opting for unlimited plans and long waiting period for limited plans folks.

well i emailed the GM and in 1 hr there were calls from the office people. They are saying that the mtnl distributior has not sumbnited my form . I told them that they have appointed him so they should do something.
mtnl person asked me to get back my 500 rs from distibutor and give it directly to them which i said i dont have that much time 2 waste:@.

now the distributor has given me OB no lets see what happens now
 
^^ I suggest you contact Aladdin here. His dad is in MTNL and he will surely help you. Give him the details he may ask you. He had helped me get my triband connection back on track when it was down. :)
 
I too want to apply for MTNL triband combo plan, Is it possible to apply online.... What is the process..???? Personally I love Airtel services but Airtel in not there at my location.... so opting for MTNL..

My current Reliance datacard is terrible at times having frequent disconnections and poor speed (10-40 Kbps).. also it has a limit for download..
