Tried this out. Added the rule for port 80 & 443. Within an hour my net was dead. NO sites would be loaded, although DNS woudl resolve. Non Web traffic like torrents would work just fine and max out the link easily. Removed the rules & rebooted the router, everything back on track in a minute.

So any solution on this? I'm getting it too. I'm unable to locate the element in ABP on FF.
Right click the ad and select adblock this element.
Noob here, I only get option to block the image. Which doesn't solve the problem.

Install adblockplus plugin in firefox and adblock pro extension in chrome. Both are free and can be customized to block any element present on the webpage.
I know someone who has MTNL, will check out at his end. Gonna take some time though @cyberwarfare
