My Wipro smart bulb just stopped working after almost 3 years of use. Don't want to spend 650 behind it. Found some 3 in 1 ones in Amazon from philips orient etc costing around 300. Do these bulbs last or stops working after few months? Let me know.

It has a 1 year warranty, so you can claim it if it goes off. That said, I believe it should be as lasting as others.

My Wipro smart LED batten (tubelight) still going strong after 5 years. Previous bulb also ran for 3.5 years, then I sold it to someone for 100 rupees as I got a new one for 250 with Alexa.

How's the electricity supply in your area?

The LED themselves are fairly reliable. It's the power supply that craps out. My rental house has embedded downlights which use seperate drivers which I have to change a few years or so. If I wasn't a lazy ass I would just change the electrolytic caps which are usually the first to do

@blr_p yes thanks. That's a good option and prefer them warm lights myself over the annoying white ones but I need dimmable because i put the bulb at lowest brightness while sleeping.

I believe the electric supply is fairly good. Almost no power cuts and I don't think there's any voltage fluctuation issue (cesc Kolkata in case anyone cares). I used this bulb mainly at the lowest brightness during my sleepy time of 6 to 8 hrs. Now it's just making a static like noise and sometimes blinking and most times not. Now that you say I bought it from a amazon ac which had that Alexa offer lol for around the same price you say too

That's the thing. How to claim warranty from Philips in case it stops working?

Avoid plastic bulbs from Philips.
Can't do much, but only buy something which is Value-for-money.
Philips os only good for full-glow LED Glass bulbs they are making. Check them out.
Else if you want multi-wattage only then, Halonix (made in Haridwar) (Rs. 200) is better for multi-wattage cheap plastic bulbs.
Overall in lighting industry, we dont recommend bulbs at all unless used in a wall fixture like the following (each fixture is around 500-600)

Incase you want a 10w-900lumen solution which costs less (around 250-350) and lasts longer (2yrs warranty) with a uniform light (120d) good color rendering index (CRI80+) throw then go for:

What is your use-case?
