- Ironically name of the Hospital is Karuna
- note that they weren't poor, they had money, just couldn't arrange it at that moment
- Whom to blame here? Doctor? Management?
- Or on the system? We don't have proper med health insurance system which works everywhere. And govt hospitals, some of them are good but most of them are bad.

Wasn't there a SC ruling on issue of admitting accident cases without insisting on paperwork n financials?

A note : My dad had a surjery in Amritsar , Amandeep hospital just a month back and there were charts pasted in front of hospital saying "Amandeep hospital urges people to help those who see person lying down due to accident and bring them to amandeep hospital, no charges/police case will be done or anything, instead you get to keep 20,000 rupees if you do that" or something like that.. I was like.. this is really nice.

All kind of subsidies and tax rebates should be taken off this hospital, its management people and doctors.
All civic services, like electricity, water, fuels, road usage, sewers etc, for these people should be charged at actual costs + various applicable taxes.
They and all such people will learn about real value of money in human society.
