Hi Mumbaikars...

I am gonna be in ur city for next two months :clap::clap:, So i need :

1.An internet connection ( wireless , 3g ) as i will be in a rented flat/apartment

2.A Mobile connection which has less network traffic (happened to use my BSNL sim on roaming there and i was not able to speak nor receive my calls properly ) ,offers second billing for local/std/isd calls and also has atleast 100 sms(loc+national) /day

for the 3g sim, i will be using it only for data... so it wud be a best bet rite? how much for their unlimited plan?
 
get a 3g modem (speeds upto 3.6mbps). they wont be increasing that soon.

or if u plan to different operator(3g) get a 21mbps modem Huawei UMG1831.

their unlimited plan costs about 4.5k for 6 months.
 
internet: tata photon usb stick will cost your 1850 for the device and first recharge option is Rs. 350 for 2 gb for 30 days, gets activated in 10 mins
mobile: reliance gsm, activate 1p/s for calls and sms pack of Rs. 39 for 1p/sms

now how do you unlock wireless usb modem, I want to learn it as I might change sims as well depending on better offers.

thats a pretty good speed.. So guys pls tell me how to take a mtnl sim?is it available only in MTNL offices?? Also the recharge to be done for UL 750...
 
The recharge amount is for 4500 which will give you unlimited internet for a period of 6 months i.e effective cost of 750p.m.

oops tht something sad to hear for me... As i ll be here only for ~ 2 months, 45 days to be precise... Any other plans guys? If not unlimited atleast 6 to 7 gb per mnth...
