Im not 'fit' to post here but something troubles me... :)

Since there is no appreciable drop in per GB price on selecting a larger capacity drive, Why would somebody choose a 120GB over a pair of 60GB(unless ofcourse he's buying a pair of 120s itself)?

Because as of now SSD's lose their TRIM capability in RAID mode. Maybe future motherboard BIOS's and Drivers will bring this feature in RAID.

I really want a SSD but really skeptical to get one now. Better drives with newer controllers just on the horizon.

the way technology is man there is always something better at horizon :) ....

post purchase dissonance is traumatic

thus if there is stable upgrade worthy tech like an SSD for your OS and main softwares i would suggest go for it.
