music flip phone under 8k?

which is best music flip phone with expandable memory under 8k.an important feature reqd is that the music controls should be outside(to play music without opening the phone)
 
guess not to many gud flip phones out there.....

w300 from sony ericssion...nice music, nice display...looks decent...but will need a nice memory card for it...m2 which aint cheap
motorazr will be one contender....but i dont love this much...
and there is moto w270 which is pretty impressive to me if u want to spend a lot lesser....
 
I think the 5300 is a better deal, the only thing the samsung has going for it is slim. As a music phone , the 5300 wins hands down

Ill agree to that.. tho at one point... if you remember the 6233 Music Edition.. man those were loud! i had one :D

is 6233 a better option than 5300 if music is only requirement.also what's diff betn 5300 and 5310.
 
dude decide your priorities. I thought you wanted a non candybar phone and controls etc:S

make sure about your priorities and budget first :|

6233 is out of production and 5310 is out of your budget ....

actually i wanted a flip phone.since there r no viable options will do with any type.also 6233 is available on indiaplaza. can extend my budget a little if a great deal of performance in music can be had.
 
W700i. super cam, superb speakers, superb earphones, walkman mp3 player. what more do you need :D

Unfortunately very plain looks and no EDGE

in indiaplaza w700i and w810i r approx 10k.which should i go for.and thanks for ur input so far greenhorn.:hap2:
 
w700i comes with 256MB memory and the camera does not have autofocus.

If you ask me, I don't think autofocus makes that much difference as I feel that all camera phones give lousy performance in low lit conditions and I don't consider them for serious photography. But better to have this answered by some mobile phone expert.

The thing I did not like about the w700i is that the buttons looked a little ugly. The champagne gold colour is nice..just the buttons bothered me. The w810i..well there is no shutter for the damn camera and it's black colour(which does not appeal to me).
You will need some sort of cover to protect the camera. Else, it's a nice phone.

Agree that there are no decent flips out there. I personally love the flip concept as it protects both the keypad and the screen. I think Motorola flips are quite good. The RAZR v3i and the KRZR have good flaunt value. The KRZR's 2MP cam is quite good and it's easier to hold vs the RAZR. No idea about the music 'n usuability aspects though(heard motorola's propretary UIs have left a lot of people unhappy.) Maybe someone else can comment.
 
indiaplaza prizes are fooking bloated :S and the combo offers make no sense. I say get whatever W series ( with iem earbuds ) that fit in your budget from elsewhere.

If you're still sticking with indiaplaza, check out the Cheaper 'uns - the W660 and W610

H20: that's mp3 "support" a phone with mp3 suport does not make a music phone. even the 1110 have "mp3 quality" ringtone :P
 
THats why he should take the ipod. When you can have a combo which comes at a lower prices sounds and looks so much better why would you wanna go for something expensive. A pone is meant to do the job of tallking and sending SMS's Period.

By the way 2630 does have MP3 support :D
 
personally, I'm with you on this one- i have a phone which just makes calls (1110) , an mp3 player which just plays music ( transcend T 610) and a canon cam which just takes pix :D

but at the office , they dont let us take the transcend/canon inside :( , so even I'm on the lookout for a cam/music phone

actually its for my mom.all she needs the phone is for calls and listening to old hindi songs while commuting by school bus.
