First time I've noticed this but DPReview.com has a very nice starting page for comparison charts you can get by features: Buying Guide: Features Search: Digital Photography Review

I used it to get a list of compact digicams that support HD 720p video recording. Currently my favourite is the yet to be released Sony DSC WX1 :) I know people (more photo buffs) usually stay away from Sony but I'm a fanboi...
