PC Peripherals MX518 Discontinued?

My trusty MX518 died on me a couple of weeks ago; and so began my quest to replace it. I searched high and low at Lamington as well as online at Flipkart and Letsbuy.

I was initially told that the mouse was out of stock and would be available post diwali but now I've been informed by the good folks at Prime ABGB that the MX518 has been discontinued.

Any ideas as to where I might be able to snag one? If not then any alternatives in the 1.5k INR range that are suitable replacements?

The MX518 has been discontinued, but I think you may be able to find it in quite a few places online.

Also, if don't know, the Logitech G400 is the new replacement for MX518.

If you're looking for a different mouse, the Razer Deathadder and Steelseries Ikari Optical are good mice in 2k. If strictly under 1.5k, get the MX518 from online sites if available or get he G400.

It must be available in bangalore! I did get Llogitech MX 518 for 1250/- plus tax in SP road,bangalore in October2011 from the first shop that i enquired!
