Storage Solutions My DVD Drive Can't Read DVD'S That Contain Data

i hv purchased a dvd writer last nov
it can write a dvd without any problem also it can read n write a cd too
but it fails to read a already written data dvd (eurovision n another some local dvd, but i stopped using d local one after written only 5 till now)
m facing this problem 4 d last 2 months searched d net 4 queries but failed to do so

The issue is probably with the DVD's you've written the data on.

Which DVD media did you use? Have you tried reading these DVD's on another DVD drive?

Try getting better quality DVD disks, writing to them and them attempt to read them. Cheap DVD media are known to lose their data contents within even a few days or weeks!
 
well eurovision comes for rs 30 + d cheap 1 i brought for rs 9 but stopped using tht
n d the dvd's seem to work perfectly on other dvd drives checked em i hv a abt 10 dvds of eurovision n my drive fails to read em in d beginning it coudl read after little tries but now it doesn't read:(
 
Try uninstalling the DVD drive from device manager and reboot the system.

Also run this script here.

If that doesn't help, try updating the firmware of the drive. But I couldn't find the firmware for your drive....:huh:
