Storage Solutions My DVD Rom wont open!

well my Liteon DVD rom is refusing to open for the last few days...

when i press the eject button,all i can hear is a bump sound,thats it.

i removed the rom and opened its casing,but the prob is i cannot remove the front panel since i cannot open the tray.

so basically i have a rom with its bottom open.

since i think the tray is just jammed can any one pls tell me what component should i try moving/jerking to get the tray open?:huh:

Unscrew the bottom part of your drive . You will find a lever which will push your tray a little bit. Or use a small a pin below the bezel to open the tray.
 
Use a small pin and insert it in the small front hole besides the button. Push a little hard and the tray will come out.
