OC & Modding My First Liquid Cooling Build

Spent the last few days setting this up...

I have gone thru close to ten top end air coolers for reviews over the last year and I thought this would be a good time to jump to the next level....so here goes.

Setup is as follows:

Asus M4A89TD PRO....will be replaced by my good old GD70 sometime this week.
1090T AMD PII X6...again just for testing
Sapphire 5850
CM Sniper, modded and powder coated
CM Silent power 700W
COuple of fans, Scythe 1850 GT's, Yateloons and CM excaliburs
Wire sleeving from MDPC

The finish is just superb and I even with the first clean up with hot water, I didnt get any gunk or flux...

The cut I had to make to get the fan on top....anyway have sanded it after this, but have not taken a pic, so it does look better now:

do post more benchies when you get time...and compare it with your various air cooling setups of the past.

btw that XSPC BAY Reservoir almost reads as GAY Reservoir in the 1st pic :p
 
LOL...anyway will be getting the 965 and MSI setup with this soon and then will compare to the air setups...that will give you guys a good idea as well, as I have a lot of data with me there.

Where did you source the custom sleeving for the PSU cables? If you dont mind sharing.

Are they custom built, if so where did you get the kit from?

great setup you've got there, I thought of going water as well, but I only have an Apogee GTZ with me right now. Finding no good site to get things shipped. Where did you get them from, I mean which store? and yea I did order from MDPC great sleeves

EDIT: Are you using only 2 fans on the rad??
 
Thanks guys...was a lot of hard work to be true to u all, so be ready for split skin and sore fingers as well as a lot of planning and some hard work
 
Well ur efforts have truly paid off well. i wudn mind the split skin and sore fingers for such a neat setup. Congos for the build mate.
