Fantastic Independence Purchases!

After a long time, I finally made a few purchases for myself. It was all study and work, work and study for the past year or so. At last I broke out of my self imposed prison and indulged myself.

Bought two things that I badly needed -

1) Playstation Portable

Some of you already know about this fantastic deal. Got the whole bundle second hand. It was an offer I simply could not resist! :)

2) Samsung Star 5233

Buying a new phone was long overdue. My previous Nokia 6681, though still functional and quite zippy, was getting my nerves! :P
Then I saw the E-Zone Sale advert in the newspaper today. I rushed out at 10am and got this beauty.
On top of that, I got a Samsung Bluetooth Headset WEP 460 + Sandisk 4GB microSDHC Class 2 card absolutely free!!:hap2:

I apologize for the blurry and LQ images. These were taken with the measly 1.3MP camera on my Nokia 6681.

That tells me that my next purchase should be a camera, right? :P:rofl:

Actually I am looking for Photofast CR-5400 microSD to MS Pro Duo Adapter, so that I can out in 2X 8/16GB microSD cards in it and get 16/32GB space in all on my PSP. So if anyone can help me out, do so! :)

@thetechmind - that offer was in the newspapers too! The deal is, Samsung Star 5233 + Samsung WEP 460 Bluetooth Headset + Sandisk 4GB microSDHC card, all for Rs.9000/-

@YashBhatt - the PSP deal was for 10k and the phone deal was for 9k. Money well spent I would say. :)

:O OMG ! that's a fantastic deal, cause i asked in the shop today, 9.3k just for the phone with no freebies....9k all inc for the stuff u got is amazing....hows the phone ? and the camera ? would u pls post some camera shots at your convenience. and i dint happen to see it in the papers :O was it a one day offer !?

@thetechmind - Yeah sure buddy. I'll post the phone camera pics soon. The phone, till now has been awesome! Great 3.2 MP camera with superb quality.( I may be a bit dazzled by the camera as until now I was using the 1.3MP camera on my Nokia 6681). The speaker is pretty good too. Before buying it, I made the guy load a song onto the phone, and in all the ruckus of the store, I could clearly hear the music being played. The ring volumes are more than ok! The touch screen is pretty responsive. The GUI has three faces that you can drag from left to right and back, with different customizable apps on all. Some of the buttons for the widgets and apps are too small, or I may just be finding it difficult because of my fat fingers. LOL. I could go on and on man! You should head off to the nearest E-Zone to check it out. It was, no, is a three day offer. 14th -16th August at most E-Zone outlets. But I suspect that this limited to North India, since I know very well that there are E-Zone outlets in Pune, but the brochure that they hand out does not mention its Pune outlets as being part of this sale. Best would be check it out personally.
