Finally Got my new Viewsonic VP930b 19 inch 8 ms HDTV Ready LCD Monitor for 29k Today (25th February, 2006).

View http://www.techenclave.com/forums/rig/viewgallery-138.html for pictures of it.

Have kept brightness on 50%, contrast on 80%, color temrature at 6500K & resolution at 1280x1024.

The input is D-Sub 1 as my crappy graphics card does not support DVI.

Still it is crystal clear.

No Ghosting or Dead Pixels.

:) :D :ohyeah: :hap2: :hap5: :cool2:

Congratulations Udit, looks awesome, a great buy :)

Edit : Udit, just in case, you have not already done it, Enable ClearType for your fonts ;)

A Very thanks to Chaos, hippy2981, dipdude, stormblast, TheMask, Funky(Monkey), Saiyan, Rahul, Goldenfrag & avj for helping me decide.

YEAH .. I am sure it is.... I just bought a HUGHE 15" one year OLD second hand D-Sub Samsung LCD for 7.5K. !!

... and having been a Pro Film Process Lab person I know all about good colours....I tuned the colours of my LCD to the last pixel of accuracy - BEST I could manage...... and I can honestly say that I had to pick my tongue off the floor when I saw the quality of my el-cheapo LCD :O Even Gulbir Bhatia of Prime said when he came over that the image quality on my screen was comparable to his latest Hi-FUNDA Sony 17" LCD.

ITS ALL IN THE FINE TUNING OF THE COLOURS :S
