I dont need a full HD display coz I have FULL HD monitors with HDMI and I am investing in a Push 2TV box.
Also shelling extra 6k for full HD was not worth for me. I dont use my lappy for games. I have a xbox for the games. Also for movies/docs I prefer to extend the display to my large LCD rather than viewing in the lappy.
I diverted that amout to extra GFX, 750gb HDD and a better WiFi card. :)

I got it from US in June. At that time I had got $170 off using some coupons.
With DELL we can transfer the service tag from one country to another (even from one owner to other). Its a very simple 2 min online form that needs to be filled online and then the process takes about a month. The service tag (warranty) is then transferred to the other country and you can avail the same type of warranty which was present in the purchasing country :) I really liked this feature and the simplicity of the process.
Everything is online. Not emails/printouts, etc.
