As I know External HDD are very

delicate stuff.. my bro external HDD fell off from the table and he RMA one and got a new one however all his data was lost...

take care if you buy do not put it on the stand provided just lay it on the surface and use..mine is working perfectly well till date

Do the portable freeagent GO HDDs have shock protection? As far as I can recall, no portable HDD offers shock resistance like the Transcend portable HDDs (pity about the 2 year warranty though on the Transcends).

OT: Anyone using Iomega HDDs? They sure are sweet looking ones .
