hi everyone.. my posts are not getting counted its still in same position 4 posts.. can anyone help me .. wats the reason.. did i am banned:(

how now it increased to 5 post.. when i created a new thread.. confusing..
 
this is done to avoid recless spamming. :)
post count increases when we add something worth to ths technology forum in tech sections.
 
As mentioned above, you need to make valid posts in the Tech sections.

Why are you so worried about post count anyway? :huh:
 
Disclaimer: No offense to the thread starter. Just using this as an example.

Now is this not a perfect example of why we should not have any post count restriction on the market section. Till now he has been posting only in the non-tech sections, which is laudable, since he apparently doesnt have anything useful to add there.

Now that he knows how to get the market section access, will he not go ahead make those useless 15 posts. He is forced by the system. Then we will come out whining that TE is getting spammed. If it were up to me I would have removed the restriction long back.

As I see it we have two sources of spam. Market seekers and ignorant new members. Market Seekers will always spam, as they must. Ignorant new members will at least settle down with time.
 
i wanted criteria to be set on karma a long while back, but it was supposedly not feasible.

and its easier to find out and crack down on repping scams :)

plus if you need to get repped, you need to do something useful!
 
Did OP not have to pay for getting the posts counted? ;)
