My search for the perfect entry-level DSLR ends. Nikon D3100.

After a long time with the Sigma DSLR's i finally decided to go back to the traditional CaNikon camp. Budget was low & options were very few (that meets my criteria). After a lot of research zeroed upon the D3100 & after a week long wait finally got it in hand..

Damages: Rs.29,250/-

(Clicked with my about to retire Sigma SD14)

Will upload some snaps clicked with the D3100 soon..

Thanks everyone..

Initial impressions:
* Very lightweight. Feels exactly the same as my good old D40.
* Shutter release is very quiet.
* Foldable plug in the battery charger is a very welcome change.

Congrats :)...but why are your SD14 pics looking smoky?
This is something which i've been trying to solve for very long. The haziness occurs with the 18-50mm lens only, no such issue when using the 70-300mm.

Here's the cam that took all those snaps.. My Sigma SD14..

I wish i could post in a review, but i don't have enough expertise to do a proper camera review. Anyways i'll post in a brief review once i take some more shots..
