Storage Solutions My Transcend Flash Drive 2.0 is not recognizing

I bought a Transcend Flash Drive 2.0 . Earlier my machine is used to recognize this pen drive( when OS is xp). But Now, I have formatted mymachine and loaded Win 20003. there after., If I go to Windows explorer., it is showing the contents of Pen Drive. But If I click any of that., it immmediately shows the contents of Control Panel., by giving some message.,

I go thru google', and found something related to registry to reset the usb drivers in DeviceManager of my machine and did something. Nowitis not at all recognizing this drive at all.

Even I tried this pendrive at somebrowsing centre. there also it is not recognizing. what would be the problem.,

I would be great thankful if any one suggest any idea to make use of it.,

If the drive is not being recognized, may be u'll have to download the latest drivers and see if it works.

Regarding the error message, do you mean to say that you can open the USB drive by exploring it (right click-> explore), and not by double clicking on it...if this is what you mean then probably there might be a Autorun.inf file(most probably a hidden file) in ur drive...just try deleting the file...before u do that just go to task manager and under the process tab end the process named wscript.exe(if it is available)...after this is done try deleting the autorun.inf file.. its better if u can use the command prompt to delete the file..

Also, make sure you scan the drive once with an antivirus. I once had the same problem...it was due to some worm...i scanned the drive completely and the problem was solved...

it would be better if u can post the error message...
