Nokia N91 review: Real celebrity

My friend has bought it already. But since we're not on good terms i'll have to beg him once to bring his phone over to test its quality against N70 and Walkman series.

The only drawback i see in this phone is that its heavy (which really isn't a big deal for PDA/Smartphone users i guess) and OS incompability. Regualar S60 proggies won't work.

This is some 32k right? Very few people would consider spending so much on a phone that could do all of this... :) Good summary though - would be nice to do a comparison with other phones in the same price range.

It'll be down to 25k in Alfa within a few months.

IMO, Nokia should have relaunched it with a 3.2MP cam.

@ Nikihl - Seen N93 yet :P ?

It has come down already to 27k as of today with bill (this time I am sure, I personally asked the wholesaler) and is likely to go down to 25k .......

I guess it is fr those who are strictly into music....... But screen and camera suffer........ IMO looks wesome alright, saw the blck colour.............

acha but the earphones that were given were ad-46! I know these are good but they shud have given some thin tht looks more classy...

IMO looks sexy, and reminds me of a certain 8310 and 8850.

read the review carefully guys... its a hell of a phone but it has its drawbacks... surface not polished - so it will be prone to scratches and dust accumulation much easily than any other phone,
screen isnt upto mark. infact its worse thnthe 6680 series phones
the slider when opened is sharp at the edges
the back of the slider isnt covered shows the circuit wires

and its heavy as hell...cam is also not tht good but then one dosent care abt the cam now..

the biggest disappointment.. the hard disk makes the phone slow..:(

hmmm But the sound quality is top notch! it is said to be better then W810i which GSMARENA reviewed Today......

yeah the sound quality is top notch.. it is a music phone isnt it.. but you wont sacrifice the screen for sound will you, + the build quality of the side buttons is also not good..

seemsl ike the phone will be quite a let down, wait for a month, prices r crashing already, nokia isnt too happy about the sales either :P

how can it be... NOkia would never learn how to price the phones right... if they had launched it at 25K.. their sales would be almost doubled up..

hi members just got news that N91 has some major probs whenever u try to access something stored on it u keep getting this msg "insert hard disk" and the worst part it was confirmed by nokia official dealers saying 40% of the phones sold had this prob

Yeah after reading the drawbacks i would have never gone for this phone. Especially the new symbian when its at current restricted to very limited number of symbian apps.

but only s phones are out there with this 9.1 symbian and 176*208 screen (N91 and 3250), no more coming, and I do not expect any of them to sell well..
