Can anybody give me the list of names of chips used on corsair value ram since

u can say that again I used corsair 3200PT which is basically value ram with a platinum spreader, and found the transcend equally good....Freaky said:Did u check this list ?

Corsair Value would just be waste of money IMHO. TwinMOS and Transcend, which are priced lower than the Corsair perform much better in the Value segment.
How right you areChaos said:Valueselect uses the cheapest DDR400 chips that are available at any particular time... varies from hynix d43, winbond, samsung tccc, mosel vitelic, elpida.... basically whatever they get for cheap . NOT recommended.
Darklord said:Well if you are classifying samsung TCCD better than Winbond, only on the basis of high speeds it does, then i think you are being fair here.
I think both are equally good.
TCCD is best @ loose timings high frequencies and Winbond is best at low latencies lower frequencies.
If i remember correctly, some PURE BH-5 have done 295 @ 2-2-2-5.I dont think any TCCD is capable of doing that.
Who would you rate as best ?
Also BH-5,even if it needs more voltage,it doesnt need as much as UTT needs. UTT is NOT always = BH-5 so pls dont mix both...
