Nanostation 2 Loco - what is it?

guys i disconnected my tikona connection after i finished my college in chennai... but the problem is they dont refund my advance rental of 2.4k...

so after many calls, no response...

came back home with that nanostation thing and today i found on my junkpille... had no idea of what it does...

i googled and found there web page ubnt...

anyone have any idea of what it does or is anyone want this????

Its a long range wi-fi router. ISPs use this for last mile connectivity between homes and their main base station.

Its not really useful for us apart from long range connectivity, since these have very focussed antennas that work in only a single direction, unlike the omnidirectional wi-fi routers we use at home.
 
Guys can anyone have any idea how can i use this?
can i use this as a wifi extender for home purpose.
